1867 Canadian Marketplace

Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Shipping and return arrangements can differ by vendor. This page explains the marketplace-wide approach; always check the terms shown for the product you are buying.

1. Marketplace orders

1867 connects customers with independent Canadian vendors. Each vendor is responsible for the products it sells, preparing orders, shipping products, and handling product-related returns and refunds, except where 1867 has expressly agreed otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

A single checkout may include products from more than one vendor. Those items may be packaged and shipped separately, with different shipping charges, dispatch dates, tracking details, and delivery dates.

2. Shipping charges and options

Available shipping methods and charges are shown during checkout where supported. Shipping charges may be calculated separately for each vendor. Review the checkout summary before placing your order.

If a shipping method, delivery estimate, or tracking service is offered, its availability may depend on the vendor, product, destination, and carrier.

3. Processing and delivery times

Order processing time is the time a vendor needs to prepare an order before dispatch. Unless a listing or vendor states otherwise, the shipping timeframe begins when the package leaves the vendor’s possession, not when the order is placed.

Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, remote destinations, service disruptions, customs where applicable, and other circumstances may affect delivery.

If an order has not arrived within the timeframe provided by the vendor or carrier, contact the vendor using the order information. 1867 may assist with marketplace-related communication where appropriate.

4. Tracking and delivery issues

Tracking is provided only when the vendor or shipping service supports it. Keep your order confirmation and any tracking information until your order is resolved.

If a parcel arrives damaged, an item is missing, a wrong item is delivered, or tracking indicates a delivery problem, contact the vendor promptly and provide your order number and relevant details. Keep packaging and photographs where useful.

5. Returns and exchanges

Return and exchange eligibility can vary by vendor and product. Before ordering, review any return terms shown on the product listing or otherwise provided by the vendor. Where no vendor-specific policy is shown, contact the vendor before sending an item back.

Do not send a return to an address unless the vendor has provided or confirmed it. Vendors may need to authorize a return and provide instructions before an item is shipped back.

Products made to order, personalized items, digital products, hygiene-sensitive items, or other product types may have different return conditions where permitted by law. Any applicable restrictions should be disclosed by the responsible vendor.

6. Defective, damaged, incorrect, or undelivered orders

If an item is defective, damaged, incorrect, materially different from its description, or not delivered, contact the vendor as soon as reasonably possible with your order details and supporting information.

The vendor is generally responsible for investigating and resolving product and fulfilment issues. 1867 may help facilitate communication or review a marketplace issue, but that does not replace rights or remedies available under applicable law.

7. Refunds

Where a refund is approved or required, the responsible vendor and 1867 will follow the applicable order and payment-provider process. Refunds are generally returned through the original payment method where possible.

The time for a refund to appear in your account depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Shipping charges may or may not be refundable depending on the reason for the return, the vendor’s disclosed policy, and applicable law.

A vendor’s policy cannot remove rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.

8. Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact the vendor as soon as possible. A cancellation may not be possible after an item has been prepared, customized, or shipped. If a cancellation is accepted or required, any applicable refund will be processed through the relevant payment process.

9. Contact and support

For an order-specific question, start with the vendor identified in your order confirmation. For a marketplace or checkout issue, contact 1867 using the customer-support contact information provided on the website or in your order communications. Include your order number, but never send full payment card details.
